This Privacy Policy explains how MaGa Srl ("MaGa", "we", "us") processes personal data when you use Fridge AI, including the Fridge AI mobile apps, websites, and related services.
Fridge AI helps users generate recipes, manage ingredients, and receive personalized food suggestions. To provide these features, the app may process account data, food preferences, ingredient data, photos or scans submitted by the user, and app usage data.

Information we collect
- Account information: email address, display name, authentication provider, user identifier, and profile information you choose to provide.
- Food and preference data: ingredients, inventory items, dietary preferences, allergies, cuisines, meal plans, favorite recipes, and similar information entered in the app.
- Photos and scan data: images or camera scans you submit to identify food items or generate recipe suggestions.
- Subscription information: subscription status, product identifiers, purchase dates, expiration dates, and store transaction information made available by Apple, Google, or RevenueCat. We do not receive or store full payment card details.
- Device and usage data: app version, device type, operating system, diagnostics, crash logs, analytics events, push notification token, and security signals such as Firebase App Check tokens.
- Support data: messages, reports, and contact details you send to us.
Dietary and health-related information
If you choose to enter allergies, intolerances, dietary restrictions, or similar information, this information may reveal health-related details. We process it only to provide the features you request, such as filtering recipes or personalizing suggestions. You should not rely on Fridge AI as medical, nutrition, allergy, or food safety advice.
How we use information

- To save your preferences, favorites, inventory, and app state.
- To process and verify subscriptions and restore purchases.
- To secure the service, prevent abuse, and protect our backend systems.

AI processing
When you ask Fridge AI to generate recipes or suggestions, the ingredients, preferences, images, and prompts you provide may be sent to our backend and to AI service providers acting on our behalf. We use this processing to generate the requested output, secure the service, and improve reliability.
Third-party services
We rely on service providers to operate Fridge AI. Depending on your use of the app, these may include Firebase and Google Cloud services, Firebase Authentication, Firebase Analytics, Firebase App Check, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, RevenueCat, Apple App Store, Google Play, Sentry, email delivery providers, and AI infrastructure providers. These providers process data under their own terms, privacy policies, data processing terms, or as processors for MaGa Srl.
Legal bases
Where GDPR or similar laws apply, we process data based on contract performance, legitimate interests, consent where required, and compliance with legal obligations.
Sharing of data
We do not sell personal data. We may share data with service providers, store platforms, legal authorities when required, or professional advisors where necessary to operate, secure, and support Fridge AI.
Retention
We keep personal data for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain account and subscription records, comply with legal requirements, resolve disputes, and protect the service. Some diagnostic and analytics data may be retained in aggregated or de-identified form.
Your choices and rights
You can update some profile information in the app. You may request access, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction of your personal data by contacting dev@duckma.com. You can manage subscriptions directly through the App Store or Google Play. You can disable push notifications from your device settings.
If you ask us to delete your account, we may retain limited information where required for legal, tax, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or store transaction records.
Children
Fridge AI is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
International transfers
Our providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
